A Writing Life for Me

StoryStorm 2017

2015 was the year I found Tara Lazar‘s site. She is a children’s author. Since I want to write for children and teenagers, and be a published author in that field, a friend of mine mentioned PiBoIdMo (Picture Book Idea Month). My friend had participated in this before and highly recommended it. I am glad she did.

I joined in the PiBoIdMo festivities and loved it. I enjoyed this challenge so much. I decided to participate again. Alas, it did not take place in November like last time. I was devastated because I looked forward to it. However, I learned that it would take place this year, January 2017. Time to celebrate! Another change made to the PiBoIdMo challenge is the name. It is now called Storystorm. I am SO ecstatic!

Work has kept me busy for the last few months. Boy, I have A LOT of catching up to do, to complete this challenge by the end of this month. I believe I can do it. In fact, I know I can. This may take a while, but it can be done. Thank goodness I am off tomorrow. Hallelujah!

Wish me luck everyone.

One more thing, I highly recommend participating in this challenge. It is A LOT less stressful than NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month).
